Transit shipments of natural gas through the Ukrainian gas transmission system (GTS) in January-February 2019 grew by 14.7% year-over-year (y-o-y), to 13.8 billion cubic meters (bcm).
In particular, gas transit supplies from Russia via Ukraine in February 2019 alone stood at 6.2 bcm, which was 3.3% up year-over-year, the state-run gas transport system operator Ukrtransgaz said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, transit shipments of natural gas through the Ukrainian gas transmission system (GTS) in 2018 declined by 7.1% from 2017, to 89.774 billion cubic meters (bcm).
In 2017, Ukraine transported to European Union member states a total of 93 bcm of gas, which was a record high amount in the past years.
