The country's largest gas producer, Ukrgazvydobuvannya, also increased output by 2.8%, to 2.5 billion cubic meters.
In January-February, 2019, natural gas production in Ukraine increased by 2.8% year-on-year, to 3.46 billion cubic meters, that's according to the state-owned gas transportation system operator of Ukraine, Ukrtransgaz.
Ukraine's largest gas producer, Ukrgazvydobuvannya, over the two months of 2019 also increased its output by 2.8%, to 2.54 billion cubic meters.

It is reported that the largest oil company Ukrnafta in January-February 2019 produced 186 million cubic meters of gas, while other companies' output amounted to 728.9 million cubic meters.
As UNIAN reported earlier citing Ukrtransgaz, Ukrainian state-owned and private extraction companies in 2018 increased gas y-o-y production by 0.4%, to 20.9 bcm.
At the same time, in 2018,Ukrgazvydobuvannya raised its gas output by 1.6%, to 15.5 bcm.
