As was the case in January, foreign currency sales exceeded purchases in February.
Ukrainians sold $942.5 million in cash through banks in February 2019, while they bought $879.1 million in cash.
Thus, cash forex sales exceeded purchases by $63.4 million, the National Bank of Ukraine said on its website.

The same situation was in January 2019: individuals sold more currency through banks than they bought. However, for two months in a row, in November and December last year, Ukrainians bought more foreign currency than they sold it.
