Ukraine's newest medium-range missiles were made including due to the fact that the country's defense industry acquired certain spare parts within a similar scheme, according to the official.
Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko has said that Russia's Federal Security Service last week blocked all known schemes for the transportation of defense-related components to Ukraine.
The statement came during a Wednesday meeting of the Interim Investigation Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine probing reports on embezzlement in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and undermining the national defense capability in the period from 2004 to 2017, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

“I think I won't be telling you a big secret, but for those who sport camo and yell about the need to destroy those terrible smuggling schemes for delivering components and spare parts from Russia, I'll say it anyway: the newest Ukrainian medium-range missiles have been made, including due to the fact that Ukroboronprom purchased part of devices required within a similar scheme,” said Lutsenko.
He added that "the FSB last week blocked all transportation schemes, at least those of which we're aware."
