Ukrainian farmers exported 34.29 million tonnes of grain from July 1, when the 2018-2019 marketing year began, to March 13, 2019, the press service of Ukraine's Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food has said.
In particular, they exported 12.77 million tonnes of wheat, 3.28 million tonnes of barley, and 17.6 million tonnes of maize.

In addition, 184,800 tonnes of wheat flour was shipped abroad over the period under review,
As UNIAN reported, farmers exported 39.9 million tonnes of grain in MY 2017-2018.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) revised upwards its forecast for maize exports from Ukraine in the 2018-2019 marketing year (MY, July 2018 - June 2019) by 500,000 tonnes, to 29 million tonnes, according to a March report.
