Rivne NPP operates four power units with a total capacity of over 2.8 GW.
Ukraine's state-run nuclear energy company Energoatom spent over UAH 3 billion, or US$111 million, on re-equipment and reconstruction of Rivne nuclear power plant (NPP) in 2018.
"In 2018, main capital investment in Rivne NPP included technical re-equipment and reconstruction and amounted to over UAH 3 billion," the company's press service said.
Over UAH 35 million, or US$1.3 million, was spent on the NPP's capital construction, allowing the nuclear power plant to develop smoothly.
