Ukrainian government wants to see Ukraine in Top 30 of Ease of Doing Business in three years

The Ukrainian government says it wants to see Ukraine in the Top 30 of the Ease of Doing Business rankings in three years and knows how to achieve this.

"I'm proud to say that we rank second in terms of growth rates in the world. A long way is ahead, but we know for sure how to get to the Top 30 destination in the world in three years," First Deputy Minister for Economic Development and Trade Max Nefyodov said during a Q&A session in parliament on March 15.

Nefyodov recalled that Ukraine climbed from 83rd to 71st position in the ranking in the previous three years.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said in turn that the government's ambitious plan is to enter the Top 50 of Ease of Doing Business, and it is quite realistic.

As UNIAN reported, in the recent 2019 Doing Business ranking Ukraine climbed five positions to 71st place.

Doing Business presents quantitative indicators on business regulation and the protection of property rights that can be compared across 190 economies.
