The share of female millionaires aged 18 to 78 is 40%.
Ukrainian citizens declared UAH 13.5 billion, or US$495.2 million, in income received in 2018 during the 2019 declaration campaign, which was 38% up from the previous campaign; of them, there were 1,120 millionaires as their income exceeded UAH 1 million, or $36,684.
"The share of female millionaires aged 18 to 78 [in Ukraine] is 40%. The youngest declared income from inheritance of property, while tax liabilities are set at UAH 82,500 [$3,026]. The youngest man, who declared income exceeding UAH 1 million, is almost 18 years old, and he will pay UAH 121,800 [$4,468] in tax. The oldest is 83 years old. He received incomes from alienation of property operations," the State Fiscal Service (SFS) of Ukraine said on March 22.

In total, Ukrainians submitted almost 100,000 declarations of assets over the period under review, the report said.
In particular, a total of UAH 269 million, or $9.9 million, in individual income tax and UAH 42.4 million, or $1.6 million, in war tax were declared for tax payment, which exceeded the figures of the corresponding period in 2018 by UAH 36 million ($1.3 million) and UAH 5 million ($183,419), respectively.
In particular, millionaires declared revenue received from property sale (exchange), which accounted for 35% of the income structure, while the share of that received from other taxable income (bank interest, dividends, etc.) was 24%, and that from property lease (sublease) was 20%.
The number of citizens who applied for tax refunds in 2019 increased by 8% from the previous year, to more than 27,000 people. The refunds stood at UAH 69 million ($2.5 million), which was 28% higher than the figure for the same period in 2018.
The largest number of millionaires who have already filed assets declarations are registered to pay taxes in Kyiv (396 people), or 35% of the total number. It is followed by Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, with 101 and 96 millionaires, respectively.
May 2 is the deadline for Ukrainians to submit their declarations on property status and income, the press service added.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainian citizens declared UAH 73.1 billion ($2.7 billion) in income received in 2017 during the 2018 declaration campaign, which was 16% up from the previous campaign.
At the same time, the number of millionaires rose by 16%, to 4,817 people.
