Hungarian airlines Wizz Air, the largest discount carrier in Central and Eastern Europe, has announced the launch of a new flight from the Ukrainian capital city of Kyiv to Leipzig, Germany.

The Kyiv-Leipzig flight will be carried out on Mondays and Fridays from July 5, according to Ukraine's tourist portal Uvidpustku.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Europe's major discount air carrier, Ireland's Ryanair will start its flights from Ukraine's Odesa and Kharkiv as early as in June this year. Both flights are set to be carried out by Polish-based Ryanair subsidiary Ryanair Sun.
