Russian gas monopoly Gazprom has confirmed the receipt of $15 million from the state-run energy holding Naftogaz Ukrainy as an advance payment for gas supplies, the spokesperson of the Russian gas monopoly, Sergiy Kupriyanov, said on Friday.
"Today, at 0920, Gazprom has received payment from the Naftogaz Ukrainy in the amount of $15 million. According to the current level of supplies, this advance payment is enough for about one day," he said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the state-run energy holding Naftogaz Ukrainy has reported the transfer of $15 million in advance payments to Russia’s Gazprom for gas supplies in March 2015.
