Documents for the state registration of the bank's liquidation as a legal entity in the Unified State Register were sent to the state registrar on March 28, the DGF said on its website on March 29.

Payment of guaranteed compensation to bank depositors was completed on the same date, it said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Deposit Guarantee Fund in August 2014 introduced temporary administration at Terra Bank and it launched its liquidation in December 2014.

Terra Bank had been operating in the Ukrainian market since 1996. On December 2013, Serhiy Klymenko, the head of the bank's supervisory board, became the bank's major shareholder after its former owner, Ruslan Tsyplakov, had withdrawn from among the bank's shareholders.
