Naftogaz price offers are differentiated depending on the volume of purchases and payment terms.
NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine from April 1 is reducing by 19% against March the minimum price of natural gas for industrial consumers, to UAH 7,188 ($263) from UAH 8,886 ($325) per 1,000 cubic meters.
From April 1, maximum gas prices for industrial consumers will be reduced by 23.6%, to UAH 7,749 ($283) from UAH 9,792 ($358) per 1,000 cubic meters of gas.
As reported by the company's press service, Naftogaz price offers are differentiated depending on the volume of purchases and payment terms.
If buyers have no debt to Naftogaz or purchase at least 50,000 cubic meters of gas per month, the minimum price is set for them. A higher price applies in all other cases. All prices include VAT.
On October 19, 2018, the Cabinet of Ministers raised the price of gas for the population by 23.5% from November 1, 2018, to UAH 8,550 ($313) per 1,000 cubic meters.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on March 14, Naftogaz CEO Andriy Kobolyev said that the price of gas on the European market had fallen below the rates applied when selling gas to households in Ukraine, set by the Ukrainian government in its resolution of October 19, 2018.
Taking this into consideration, to create competitive relations in the gas market for the population, Naftogaz proposed that the government cancel state regulation of gas prices for households so that consumers could choose their supplier offering the best price, as is now the case in the industrial consumer market.
