Transit shipments of natural gas via the Ukrainian gas transmission system (GTS) in January-March 2019 grew by 4.5% year-over-year (y-o-y), to 21 billion cubic meters (bcm).
In particular, gas transit supplies from Russia via Ukraine in March 2019 alone stood at 7.2 bcm, which was 10.9% less year-over-year, the state-run gas transport system operator Ukrtransgaz said.
