Share of non-performing loans in Ukraine shrinks to 52% in Feb 2019

The share of non-performing loans in Ukraine's banking system shrank to 52.24% in February 2019.

The amount of such loans at the beginning of March fell by UAH 25.3 billion (US$937.03 million), to UAH 607.3 billion (US$22.49 billion), the National Bank of Ukraine said on its website.

Since the beginning of the year, the share of non-performing loans has decreased by 0.61 percentage points, and the volume of such loans down by UAH 23.5 billion (US$870.37 million).

As UNIAN reported earlier, according to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), non-performing loans in the Ukrainian banking system accounted for 52.85% as of the beginning of 2019, while their share in the state-owned banks was 67.92%.
