Hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market on Monday rose to UAH 25.50/26.50 to the dollar, a broker at a commercial bank has told an UNIAN correspondent.
According to the source, trading on the market was active, and the importers were expecting a further decline in the dollar.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro have settled at UAH 28.60/29.70, while against the Russian ruble they have settled at UAH 0.4100/0.4250.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 1330 was UAH 26.7387 to the dollar, with 28 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $12.98 million.
