On Friday, April 5, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 26.66/26.70 to the dollar.
The National Bank of Ukraine on Friday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate by 26 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 26.76 to the dollar.

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for April 8:
US$100 costs UAH 2,676.8706 (UAH 2,702.2033 as of April 5);
EUR 100 costs UAH 3,006.9287 (UAH 3,031.6019 as of April 5);
