Relevant resolution No. 57 "On amendments to the rules for the organization of protection of non-banking financial institutions in Ukraine" adopted by the NBU Board on April 2, 2019, came into force on April 6, 2019, according to the NBU's website.

"The National Bank has established minimum requirements related to the organization by non-banking institutions and postal communications operators of their premises protection, personnel security and the safety of valuables and property. This will optimize and summarize the security requirements of all non-banking institutions," the regulator said in a statement.

The central bank also added that non-bank institutions in villages and settlements could independently determine whether it is necessary to install CCTV cameras and properly equip cashiers' workplaces in their premises.
