The National Bank of Ukraine on April 1-5 resumed currency sales on the interbank foreign exchange market after a two-week break, having sold US$21.6 million.

At the same time, the regulator bought $140 million on the interbank forex market. As a result, the National Bank's currency purchases exceeded its sales by $118.4 million, according to the NBU's website.
Since the year-start, the central bank has bought on the interbank market $743.18 million more than it sold, the report said.
UNIAN memo. The National Bank in 2018 replenished reserves on the interbank forex market by $1.372 billion.
