Wizz Air launches flights from Kyiv to Krakow

The Kyiv-Krakow flights will be carried out four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Hungarian airlines Wizz Air, the largest discount carrier in Central and Eastern Europe, on April 5 launched its first flight from the Ukrainian capital city of Kyiv to Poland's Krakow.

A total of 168 passengers aboard one of the modern Airbus A320 aircraft arrived at Krakow. On the same day, 159 passengers used the return flight to fly to Kyiv, according to the airport's press service.

The Kyiv-Krakow flights will be carried out four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flight tickets cost from UAH 689 (US$25.86).

As UNIAN reported earlier, Wizz Air on June 30 will resume flights from the Ihor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) to Lublin (Poland).

On July 5, Wizz Air will also start operating flights from the said airport to Leipzig (Germany).
