The opening of rail traffic is scheduled for December 2019.
Russian occupation administration in Crimea has started the process of laying rails on the railway part of the Kerch Strait Bridge.
The laying began from the city of Kerch. In total, 38 kilometers of rails is planned to be laid, RIA Novosti reports.
"The construction teams are moving toward each other from the Crimean and Kuban shores. The laying of rails from the Taman began in the summer of 2018," the report said.
The opening of the train traffic on the railway bridge is planned for December 2019.
