Ukraine exported 39.9 million tonnes of grain in the previous marketing year.
Ukrainian farmers exported 40.2 million tonnes of grain from July 1, 2018, when the 2018-2019 marketing year began (MY, July 2018 through June 2019), to April 17, 2019.
In particular, 13.9 million tonnes of wheat was exported, while barley shipments totaled 3.3 million tonnes, the press service of Ukraine's Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food said.

Exports of maize stood at 22.2 million tonnes.
In addition, farmers supplied 223,500 tonnes of wheat flour onto foreign markets during the reporting period.
As reported by UNIAN, Ukraine exported 39.9 million tonnes of grain in MY 2017-2018.
