Metallurgical enterprises in Ukraine consumed 460 million cubic meters (mcm) of natural gas in January-March 2019, which was 10% down on the same period last year.
In March alone, gas consumption was 150 mcm, which was 3% up on February 2019, according to the Ukrmetprom Association.

Electricity consumption by metallurgical enterprises in January-March 2019 decreased by 4%, to 2.92 billion kWh.
As reported by UNIAN, Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises in 2018 increased gas consumption by 4%, to 1.84 billion cubic meters, while electricity consumption fell by 6%, to 11.76 billion kWh in 2018 from 2017.
