Taking into account the established official rate, the hryvnia has risen against the U.S. dollar by 1.3% and strengthened against the euro by 1.2% since the beginning of April.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on Tuesday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate by nine kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 26.68 to the dollar.

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for April 24:
US$100 costs UAH 2,668.8008 (UAH 2,677.5371 as of April 23);
EUR 100 costs UAH 3,001.0665 (UAH 3,012.2292 as of April 23);
On Tuesday, April 23, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 26.63/26.65 to the dollar.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 29.86/29.88.
