Taking into account the established official rate, the hryvnia has risen against the U.S. dollar by 1.3% and strengthened against the euro by 1.2% since the beginning of April.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on Wednesday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate by nine kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 26.59 to the dollar.

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for April 25:
US$100 costs UAH 2,659.4202 (UAH 2,668.8008 as of April 24);
EUR 100 costs UAH 2,980.9441 (UAH 3,001.0665 as of April 24);
On Wednesday, April 24, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 26.64/26.68 to the dollar.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 29.82/29.86.
