President of Ukrainian-based State Enterprise Antonov Oleksandr Donets says the enterprise, part of Ukraine's state-run military and industrial concern Ukroboronprom, has built 22 aircraft since it merged with Kyiv Aviation Plant Aviant.

"In 2009, when Aviant became part of Antonov, the latter received an opportunity to produce aircraft in series. Four An-148 aircraft, six An-158, and ten An-32 have been built and handed over to customers since 2009. The manufacture of aircraft kits for the An-148 was arranged to transfer them to partners for serial production. Currently, there are ten aircraft of the An-148 and An-158 families at our shops, at varying stages," he told UNIAN on April 26, adding that the construction of a new transport aircraft An-178 was completed in 2015, while the An-132D aircraft-demonstrator was built in 2017.

The enterprise also manufactured and tested the An-70, rebuilt and certified for commercial transportation the An-225 after a long idle period, as well as certified certain modifications of the An-124 and other An aircraft," he added.
