The balance of funds in the single account of Ukraine's State Treasury Service was estimated at UAH 36.850 billion (US$1.4 billion) as of May 1, 2019, which was 2.5 times up from figure posted as of April 1, 2019.
The balance on the single account as of May 1, 2019, increased by almost 7 times from the level reported on May 1, 2018, having grown by almost 4 times from the beginning of 2019, according to the website of Ukraine's State Treasury Service.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the balance of funds on the Treasury's single account was estimated at UAH 14.863 billion ($561 million) as of April 1, 2019, which was almost twice the figure reported as of March 1, 2019.
The balance of funds on the single treasury account is not a constant value. It is subject to increases due to revenues from taxes and other mandatory payments to the state and local budgets and it decreases amid budget spending peaks.
