According to the company, from March 1 to March 6 daily gas imports to Ukraine totaled on average 3.4 million cubic meters with the maximum technical capacity being about 16 million cubic meters. At the end of February 2015 daily gas imports from Hungary reached 5.8 million cubic meters.

As UNIAN reported earlier, natural gas imports from Hungary in February amounted to 0.124 billion cubic meters with an average daily pumping of 4.4 million cubic meters, while in January 2015, after a six-month break, the average daily volumes totaled about three million cubic meters.

The volume of gas imports from Slovakia in February amounted to 1.066 billion cubic meters with an average daily pumping of 38 million cubic meters, which is about eight million cubic meters more than the average daily volumes of January 2015.

For today, Slovak and Hungarian gas routes are the main for Ukraine that is seeking to minimize fuel purchases from the Russian Gazprom.

As reported earlier, in mid-February, after a short break, Ukraine also resumed gas supplies from Poland, but the daily gas imports were insignificant.
