Ukraine's budget falls short of over US$607 mln in revenue in first four months

The revenue of the budget over the period under review was US$12.15 billion.

Ukraine's national budget fell short of UAH 16.125 billion, or US$607 million, in revenue from January to April 2019.

In the first four months, budget revenue totaled UAH 322.566 billion, or US$12.15 billion, which was 4.8% down on the planned indicator.

At the same time, budget revenue was 18.2%, or UAH 49.718 billion (US$1.87 billion) up on the same period last year, the State Treasury Service said on its website.

As UNIAN reported, the deficit of Ukraine's national budget in January-March 2019 was UAH 26.2 billion (US$987 million), which was 27% up on the same period last year.

Ukraine's national budget for 2019 foresees UAH 1.026 trillion, or US$38.6 billion, in revenue and UAH 1.112 trillion, or US$41.9 billion, in spending. The deficit is capped at UAH 89.989 billion, or US$3.39 billion.
