Transit shipments of natural gas via the Ukrainian gas transmission system (GTS) in January-April 2019 grew by 5.6% year-over-year (y-o-y), to 29 billion cubic meters (bcm).

As UNIAN reported earlier, transit shipments of natural gas through the Ukrainian gas transmission system in 2018 declined by 7.1% from 2017, to 89.774 bcm.
In 2017, Ukraine transported 93 bcm of gas to the European countries, which was a record high amount in the past years.
