On Wednesday, May 8, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 26.20/26.24 to the dollar.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on Wednesday evening strengthened the official hryvnia exchange rate by 10 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 26.24 to the dollar.

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for May 10:
US$100 costs UAH 2,624.9550 (UAH 2,634.0020 as of May 8);
EUR 100 costs UAH 2,940.4746 (UAH 2,946.1312 as of May 8);

Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 29.34/29.38.
