Kremlin says no comment on reciprocal measures amid Ukraine's new sanctions

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov did not answer a reporter's question on whether Moscow will impose another set of restrictive measures following the ban on the imports of a number of Russian goods to Ukraine.

"We hope the inauguration of the once new president will take place at some point, sooner or later. In general, we must remember the previous decisions of the Russian side were provoked by the Ukrainian authorities," Peskov told journalists, answering the question on whether Russia will go for reciprocal measures or wait for the inauguration of Ukraine's President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky to be held, an UNIAN correspondent in Russia reports.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on May 15, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said the Cabinet of Ministers would impose mirror economic sanctions against Russia.
