The hryvnia on Friday continued to show signs of stabilization, hovering at an exchange rate of UAH 21.70 to the dollar – within the “fundamental range” of UAH 20-22 set by the central bank as a target value for the Ukrainian currency.
Hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market on Friday set at the level of UAH 21.54/21.70 to the dollar, a broker at a commercial bank has told an UNIAN correspondent.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro have settled at UAH 22.82/23.02, while against the Russian ruble they have settled at UAH 0.3500/0.3530.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 1200 was UAH 21.6195 to the dollar, with 7 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $3.87 million.
