The Fund spent almost US$5.2 billion on payment of pensions in the first four months of 2019.
The deficit of Ukraine's Pension Fund in 2019 is estimated at about UAH 30 billion, or US$1.14 billion.
"The Pension Fund's deficit in recent years has shown a downward trend. This year we've got the Pension Fund with about a UAH 30 billion deficit. This indicator shows that the pension security system is getting more stable," he said.

The Pension Fund's revenue in 2019 is estimated at UAH 408 billion, or US$15.5 billion.
In January-April 2019, the Pension Fund's channeled UAH 134 billion, or US$5.19 billion, into payment of pensions and UAH 8.4 billion, or US$0.32 billion, into subsidies.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the Pension Fund's budget for 2019, including subsidies for coverage of its deficit, at UAH 167 billion, or US$6.34 billion.
