Now the prices of cucumbers on wholesale markets are about UAH 15-20 (US$0.57-$0.76) per kilogram.
The Ukrainian Horticultural Association (UHA) says prices of greenhouse vegetables, namely cucumbers and tomatoes, have dropped by 20% over the past week.

"The decline in prices is associated with improved weather conditions and large supply on the market. Now the prices of cucumbers on wholesale markets are about UAH 15-20 [US$0.57-$0.76] per kilogram," the Association said, as reported by the Ukrainian TSN news service on May 23.
Producers are also reviewing prices of tomatoes, which gradually become cheaper. Now they cost UAH 40 [$1.5] per kilogram.
