Taking into account the established official rate, the hryvnia has risen against the U.S. dollar by 0.1% and strengthened against the euro by 0.4% since the beginning of May.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on Friday evening weakened the official hryvnia exchange rate by 14 kopiykas, bringing the national currency to UAH 26.47 to the dollar.

The Central Bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for May 27:
US$100 costs UAH 2,633.5723 (UAH 2,647.4780 as of May 24);
EUR 100 costs UAH 2,961.7336 (UAH 2,933.5362 as of May 24);
On Friday, May 24, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 26.30/26.34 to the dollar.
Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 29.45/29.49.
