The country's consolidated budget over the period under review saw a US$669 million surplus.
The deficit of Ukraine's national budget in January-April 2019 was estimated at UAH 1.719 billion, or US$65.3 million, which was 12 times down from the deficit of UAH 20.587 billion, or $781.9 million, year-over-year (y-o-y).

The surplus of the country's consolidated budget over the period under review was UAH 17.623 billion ($669 million), which was 531 times higher than last year's figure, according to Ukraine's Treasury Service.
The national budget of Ukraine for 2019 set a target of UAH 1.026 trillion ($39 billion) in total revenue and UAH 1.112 trillion ($42 billion) in expenditures. The budget deficit was capped at UAH 89.989 billion ($3.4 billion).
