Banks' revenue over the period under review grew by 28.6%.
The National Bank of Ukraine says the country's operating banks in January-April 2019 posted UAH 18.115 billion, or US$688 million, in profit, which was almost twice the figure reported year-over-year (y-o-y).

Banks' revenue over the period under review grew by 28.6%, to UAH 77.064 billion ($2.9 billion), while their expenses rose by 19.9%, to UAH 58.949 billion ($2.2 billion), it said.
UNIAN memo. Ukraine's operating banks in January-March 2019 (Q1) received UAH 12.9 billion, or $490 million, in net profit, which was 1.5 times up y-o-y.
