Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, and Slovakia were major buyers of Ukrainian poultry.
The Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB) says Ukrainian farmers in January-April 2019 boosted poultry meat exports by 40% year-over-year (y-o-y), to 135,800 tonnes worth US$199.2 million.

Major buyers of Ukrainian poultry meat were Saudi Arabia (shipments worth US$54.7 million) with a 27.4% share in the total export structure, the Netherlands (US$33.1 million, 16.6%), and Slovakia (US$20 million, 10%).
According to experts, Ukraine exported 32,200 tonnes of poultry worth US$52.4 million in April alone. Major shipments were sent to Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Iraq, Armenia, and Egypt.
As UNIAN reported earlier, exports of poultry and by-products from Ukraine in 2018 in physical terms grew by 21.2%, to 328,900 tonnes and in monetary terms by 30%, to US$506.6 million, according to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.
