Tariffs for the centralized supply of hot water for the Ukrainian public will increase by 55-57% from April 1, 2015, while heating bills will increase on average by 73%, Head of the Department of Economics of Utilities Systems of the Ministry of Regional Development of Construction and Housing Natalia Hotsianivska said at a briefing on Wednesday.
"Heating will increase by 73% and hot water by 55-57%," she said.
"The increase in tariffs was discussed at a meeting of the Ministry of Regional Development and the National Commission for State Energy and Public Utilities Regulation," Hotsianivska said.
"According to regulator, new tariffs will be set for heat supply companies by April 1," she said.
