At the same time, the cost of production of crop products grew by 5%, while that of livestock production rose by 5.6%, according to the State Statistics Service.
The costs of material and technical resources of industrial origin used in agricultural production increased by 5.8% in January-March of 2019 y-o-y. At the same time, the said costs increased by 0.4% in April 2019 from March 2019.
The report does not include information from temporarily occupied areas in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, and certain areas in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, it said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the cost of agricultural production in Ukraine in 2018 rose by 14% from 2017.
