Swiss AVIA opens first gas station in Ukraine

The company is to open 15 gas stations in the country.

Swiss-based AVIA International, with about 3,000 gas stations in Europe, has entered the Ukrainian market by opening its first petrol complex on Kiltseva Doroha ring road in Ukraine's capital city of Kyiv.

The international AVIA brand entered the Ukrainian market under the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between Wexler Group and AVIA Association, represented by the Polish-based UNIMOT S.A.

Adam Sikorski, the President of the Supervisory Board of UNIMOT S.A., attended the opening ceremony in Kyiv, an UNIAN correspondent reported on June 11.

Ukraine has become the 15th country where the AVIA brand is present.

In total, the company plans to open 15 gas stations in Ukraine. In particular, three of them will be located in Kyiv.

The AVIA network includes 3,150 gas stations in 14 countries. AVIA outlets operate in Germany, France, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, and other countries. Oils and lubricants, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), boiler oil and electricity are sold under the AVIA brand in Europe.
