Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has showered criticism on the supervisory board of National Joint Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine over to the "lack of consistency" in its work.
"Today, the supervisory board of [the Ukrainian state-owned railway operator] Ukrzaliznytsia may be taken as an example by other state-run companies in terms of competence, professionalism and approaches. We see an absolutely professional, pragmatic approach, rather than a politicized one. We cannot say the same about Naftogaz's supervisory board. It has been working for 18 months already, but there has been no proper consistency [in their work]," he said at a government meeting on Wednesday, June 12.

As UNIAN reported, in November 2017, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the composition of Naftogaz's supervisory board, which includes Clare Spottiswoode (Great Britain), Bruno Lescoeur (France), Amos Hochstein (U.S.), Steven Haysom (Canada), and three Ukrainian nationals, namely Oleksandr Hrytsenko (Ukreximbank), Serhiy Popyk (advisor to Ukraine's Prime Minister) and Volodymyr Demchyshyn.
