The National Bank of Ukraine on Tuesday dropped the hryvnia’s value by 14 kopiykas, setting the Ukrainian currency’s official exchange rate at UAH 23.28 to the dollar, while on Monday the Ukrainian currency’s official exchange rate was at UAH 23.14 to the dollar.
As of 1400 the central bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies:
$100 – UAH 2,328.7844 (as of 1400 on March 23 it was UAH 2,314.9873);
EUR 100 – UAH 2,541.1695 (as of 1400 on March 23 it was UAH 2,494.6303);
10 Russian rubles – UAH 3.9175 (as of 1400 on March 23 it was UAH 3.8561).
As UNIAN reported earlier, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market on Tuesday fell to UAH 23.05/23.35 to the dollar.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 1230 was UAH 23.2361 to the dollar, with 61 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $35.87 million.
