The average annual forex rate in 2019 is projected at UAH 28.86 per dollar.
Fitch Ratings forecasts that the average annual forex rate of the hryvnia against the U.S. dollar in 2019 will be UAH 28.86 per dollar and will up to UAH 30.6 per dollar in 2020-2023.
This forecast is given in a report by Fitch for Ukraine's DTEK energy company.
The agency also predicts that the average annual forex rate of the hryvnia against the euro in 2019 will be UAH 32.8 per euro and it will be UAH 34.7 per euro in 2020-2023.

Fitch's projections of rating scenarios for DTEK also include a forecast for Ukraine's GDP growth by 2.6%-3.1% in 2019-2023. Inflation growth is projected at 6.8% -8.6% over the same period.
As UNIAN reported, Ukraine's national budget for 2019 is based on a forecast indicator of the hryvnia exchange rate to the U.S. dollar at UAH 29.4 per dollar by the end of the year.
According to the consensus forecast of experts interviewed by UNIAN, the forex rate at the end of 2019 will be about UAH 30 per dollar.
The International Monetary Fund predicts a 2.7% growth in Ukraine's economy this year.
The budget for 2019 is based on a macroeconomic forecast by the government set at a 3% increase in real GDP.
According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, real GDP growth in Ukraine in 2018 accelerated to 3.3% from 2.5% in 2017 and became the highest in the past seven years.
