According to Blyzniuk, deliveries of light petroleum products and diesel fuel have been stabilized.
Fuel market in Ukraine is not seeing a shortage of petroleum products or price hikes as a result of Russia's oil and petroleum products import restrictions, which entered into force on June 1, Deputy Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, Mykhail Blyzniuk, told UNIAN.
"The Russian side has introduced the quota principle and redistributed these quotas among companies. That is, today the supply of light petroleum products and diesel fuel have been stabilized in Ukraine. Therefore, the market is not seeing a deficit, and there is no price increase, that is, everything remained at the same level as it was in early June," the official said.
According to Blyzniuk, the market is stable, while deliveries are carried out on schedule, since many meetings have been held regarding diversification of fuel supplies.
With regard to restrictions on coal imports, Blyzniuk called the issue very complicated politically, but noted that Ukraine remains within the schedule of supplies required.

"Most of all, we consume gas grade coal, which is mined in the territory controlled by Ukraine government, a lot of power units are being transferred from anthracite to gas grade coals, so today we are within the schedule of deliveries on both grades," the deputy minister explained.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksandr Danyliuk, said that Russia's restrictions on the supply of oil and petroleum products to Ukraine from June 1 could become a serious challenge for the country, therefore businesses must be ready to diversify their supplies.
Earlier, Russia restricted the export to Ukraine of Russian oil and petroleum products.
Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev said that such goods as fuel and energy products, including coal, oil, and petroleum products, from June 1 this year shall be exported to Ukraine only based on individual permits.
