"In 2018 and 2017, the management team included six executive board members and nine directors. The compensation for the management team, which is part of other operating costs, included salaries and additional current bonuses, making up UAH 717 million, or US$27.4 million (UAH 214 million, or US$8.18 million in 2017)," the report said.

Naftogaz's supervisory board voted to pay bonuses to the company's board for winning the Stockholm arbitration case over the Russian monopolist Gazprom. The total amount of bonuses is 1% of the award.

During the Stockholm Arbitration on the transit case, the Tribunal, in its decision of February 28, 2018, acknowledged that in 2009-2017 Gazprom was obliged to pump contractual volumes through Ukrainian pipelines and on this basis awarded Naftogaz compensation of US$4.63 billion. Taking into account the cross claims between Naftogaz and Gazprom and based on the results of the arbitration proceedings concerning the gas supply contract and the transit contract, the Arbitration ruling was that Gazprom shall pay Naftogaz US$2.56 billion, as well as interest for late payment (which constitutes about US$0.5 million for each day of delay).

As was reported, Kobolyev received UAH 207 million, or US$7.9 million. The amount in hryvnias Kobolyev received to his Oschadbank account was spent on the purchase of U.S. dollars, which were transferred to another account with "family assistance" mentioned as the purpose of payment. The first US$800,000, according to sources in the bank, has already been transferred to his mother.
