Ukraine's Coast Guard, which is part of the State Border Guard Service, is set to receive from the French government 20 OCEA FPB 98 patrol boats, that’s according to the Ukrainian Cabinet's press service.

Operated by the 13-strong crew, the 32m-long boats can reach speeds up to 35 knots and boasts of a 1,200 nautical miles of operating range. They can be customized upon request to accommodate various combat modules and an inspection boat.
According to the manufacturer's website, FPB 98 patrol boats are designed to take part in such missions as territorial and deep sea surveillance operations, smuggling and illegal immigration control, control of vessels at sea, search and rescue, natural resources and blue economy protection, as well as protecting the country's sovereignty
