IKEA, a Sweden-based home goods retailer, has launched a website for Ukrainian buyers and started hiring workers in Ukraine.
"As the next step of its development plan in Ukraine, IKEA is pleased to announce the launch of a website for Ukrainian consumers. In addition, the company has begun recruiting personnel (about 100 workers) for its first 'city center' store in Kyiv," the company's press service said.

The store is to open late in 2019.
"In its first store, the company will offer Ukrainian buyers a wide range of more than 6,000 affordable products of attractive design, as well as a list of services and solutions for home," it said.
IKEA was founded in Sweden in 1943. Nowadays, there are 403 IKEA Group stores in 49 countries. In 2017, IKEA stores had 936 million visits. Total sales last year amounted to EUR 34.1 billion.
