As of July 2, the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFS) has granted an authorized exporter status to 239 Ukrainian enterprises, which allows independently declaring the preferential origin of their goods and speeding up their exports to the EU without receiving EUR.1 certificates.

Authorized exporters have a number of advantages, including, in particular, a simplified procedure for confirming the preferential origin of Ukrainian goods, unlimited duration of status, and preferential tax treatment of Ukrainian goods in the EU, the agency's press service said on July 3.

To obtain the status of an authorized exporter, the applicant company must carry out foreign trade export operations with goods of preferential origin; have no record of violations of the rules for determining the preferential origin of goods, and comply with the conformity of the exported goods with the rules for determining their preferential origin.

The term for granting the said status by customs to the enterprises was extended from 30 to 90 calendar days from the date of receiving the relevant application, the SFS added.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the State Fiscal Service on January 1, 2016, started granting an approved exporter status to enterprises supplying their products to the EU.

Over three years, the SFS has issued 256,000 EUR.1 certificates to Ukrainian exporters required for duty-free exports of goods to the European Union.
