The National Bank of Ukraine on Friday cut the hryvnia’s value by one kopiyka, setting the Ukrainian currency’s official exchange rate at UAH 23.51 to the dollar, while on Thursday the Ukrainian currency’s official exchange rate was at UAH 23.50 to the dollar.
As of 1400 the central bank set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies:
$100 – UAH 2,351.3024 (as of 1400 on March 26 it was UAH 2,350.0799);
EUR 100 – UAH 2,580.0841 (as of 1400 on March 26 it was UAH 2,581.5628);
10 Russian rubles – UAH 4.1670 (as of 1400 on March 26 it was UAH 4.0951).
As UNIAN reported earlier, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market on Friday dropped to UAH 23.45/23.60 to the dollar.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 1300 was UAH 23.5303 to the dollar, with 73 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $18.49 million.
